PASTEURISATION PLANT FOR JUICES, DRINKS AND LIQUID FOODS
Pasteurisation is a heat treatment that extends the shelf life of foods such as juices, drinks, milk, syrups and sauces. It is a fundamental process that, via heating, destroys pathogenic microorganisms, reduces bacteria and deactivates enzymes for products certified over extended periods of time.
Thanks to its innovative system without the use of direct steam, the THERMO-TECH pasteuriser from PRISMATECH guarantees a gentle treatment capable of ensuring food and beverage safety while preserving all its organoleptic characteristics and genuine taste.
Pasteurisation times, temperatures and methods vary according to the type of product to be processed, the type of production and the type of filling to meet the most specific requirements.
In fact, pasteurisation is achieved by different methods depending on these factors:
- Tubular pasteuriser, used for processing fruit juices with pieces or filaments, pasteurisation of purees and thick or viscous products such as sauces and gravies
- Plate pasteuriser, used for pasteurisation of clear fruit juices, pasteurisation of syrups and finished drinks such as iced tea and milk.

PRISMATECH pasteurisation systems are suitable for both hot and cold filling applications, ultra-clean filling and aseptic filling with different levels of automation (manual, semi-automatic and automatic solutions) to meet all requirements.
PRISMATECH pasteurisation plants are state-of-the-art machines, which, thanks to the implementation of a customised heat recovery system, are able to utilise residual heat with a high energy content, drastically reducing waste, and recovering thermal energy by up to 90 per cent.
