All-in-one, one for all

Prismatech Premix: one single machine, many types of beverages

The Prismatech Premix is a high-potential machine suitable for the production of different types of beverages: carbonated soft drinks and non-carbonated soft drinks, sparkling and/or still water, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, flavoured waters, pre-mixed cocktails and a wide range of drinks.

A beverage mixer in which the deaeration, mixing and carbonation phases take place within the same plant, thus significantly improving the quality of the final product.

All processes can be customised according to the characteristics of every recipe and consist of ad hoc phases designed specifically for the two main beverage macro categories:

Production of non-carbonated beverages (NCB)

In this type of processing, deaeration and water dosage represent the first and fundamental step. Thanks to the deaerator, air is removed from the liquid, thus making the product more stable.

The next step is the syrup dosage, which quantity is regulated automatically thanks to a pump, equipped with pneumatic valves and an inverter, complete with a mass flow meter. The latter allows the syrup to be dosed according to the fixed Brix values set in the recipe and it automatically adjusts any errors occurring during the preparation phase.

The blended product is finally cooled down to a temperature lower or equal to 10°C depending on the specific beverage. This avoids foaming problems during the filling phase. For pressure filling (isobaric), counter-pressure can be achieved with sterile air or nitrogen.

Production of carbonated drinks (CSD)

Unlike non-carbonated beverages (NCB), the preparation of fizzy drinks requires an additional step, that is the stabilisation and saturation with CO2. The CO2 is injected in-line into the product, followed by holding in a specific-designed tube for a short time, and finally sent to a PED-certified pressurized storage tank to complete the stabilisation. For a carbonated soft drink, the contact phase in the holding tube is essential because it allows the CO2 assimilation thus ensuring long-lasting bubbles. Without this step, drinks might lose their fizz once the bottle is opened.

Our beverage mixer is fully automatic and, thanks to its control panel, allows the automatic management of all the information and data, as well as the essential components to produce a high-quality still or carbonated beverage. Its advanced technology also offers the possibility of recording up to 99 recipes for a wide range of beverage customisation possibilities.

In addition to the high efficiency in all process steps, the Prismatech Premix is equipped with a highly intuitive HMI control panel monitored by a high-tech PLC. Our engineers will assist you step by step throughout the set-up phase by setting the language, pre-configuring the plant according to its destination and setting the best parameters for carbon dioxide dosage (% CO2), water-to-syrup ratio, and carbonation temperature.

Wherever you are in the world, the Prismatech electronic specialists will always be at your disposal thanks to the remote assistance module included in the system. This extremely useful remote support avoids long periods of downtime by detecting, diagnosing and efficiently resolving electronic problems, mechanical faults and any type of error related to value setting or recipe loading carried out on site by operators.

The Prismatech Premix is the perfect “mix” of automation, versatility, intuition and quality. A Made-in-Italy plant that uses the latest technologies in the fields of deaeration, mixing and carbonation with a focus on energy saving.
