BLUE MONDAY ANXIETY? LET PRISMATECH HANDLE IT WITH THE INNOVATIVE MIX-TECH SYSTEM
January is not an easy month to face: the winter holidays are over and who knows when you will be able to catch your breath again! That’s why the third Monday in January is considered the saddest Monday of the year, or “Blue Monday”.
More and more people are therefore constantly looking for something to improve their mood, especially in the food and drinks market. That’s one of the reasons why the sale of so-called “mood drinks” is growing, drinks that help to recharge your energy or relax at the end of a long day.
But how are these products created?
MIX-TECH: QUALITY AND ZERO WASTE
Everything is possible thanks to MIX-TECH, a flexible system designed for the preparation of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, as well as carbonated and non-carbonated drinks. This versatile technology gives beverage producers great flexibility, by allowing the production of a wide variety of beverages with a single machine, so that they can satisfy the increasingly diversified consumer tastes.
For PRISMATECH, product quality and sustainability have always been our values and commitment to our customers and end consumers. And it is precisely in spirit of this that the company has invested time and resources to create machines that meet these demands. MIX-TECH is the jewel in the crown of this research: the system allows deaeration, carbonating and beverage mixing and is designed to produce high-quality products with less waste, thanks to software with an innovative user interface. It is therefore gratifying that at the Cibus Tec 2023 exhibition, this modern system was awarded the ‘Innovation award’.
HOW MIXTECH WORKS
The new system devised by PRISMATECH involves the use of a horizontal tank that increases contact time and water dispersion, thus improving deaeration. In addition, this tank is equipped with a ring with multiple nozzles to achieve better atomisation, allowing a high quantity of oxygen to be removed and persistent carbonation to be achieved, before and after opening the drink.
The implementation of dual-stage deaeration in combination with CO2 stripping ensures even better deaeration and consequently greater carbon dioxide absorption.
But that’s not all: this improved machine is equipped with a more precise ingredient dosing system and can include Brix analysis instruments for sugary drinks and diet drinks, a CO2 analysis unit to measure the level of carbonation in carbonated drinks and an O2 analyser to measure the level of oxygen present; all further automating the process.
REDUCED COSTS, ENERGY AND WATER SAVINGS
The new Premix is a more compact unit whose new dimensions favour packing in a single container for more sustainable shipping to protect the planet whilst optimising transport and installation costs. The latest technologies employed guarantee significant energy and water savings, and the implementation of integrated control systems allow continuous monitoring of parameters, guaranteeing the production of a high standard beverage, with the credentials to pass all quality control tests, reducing product waste.
